Employment Contract:  Employment contracts must be in writing and must provide a written statement related to the settlements in the parties of the contract. The contract depends on the kind and the duration of the work but must adhere to the Polish Labor Code.

Minimum Wages: The minimum wage in Poland is PLN 3,600 per month. 

Employer Taxes:  Employer Taxes are approximately 20.48% – 25.64% of Gross salary.

Working Hours: Working time in Poland should not exceed 8 hours per day and an average of 40 hours per an average five-day working week. 

Annual Leave: Employees who have worked for less than ten years are entitled to 20 days while employees who  have worked for at least ten years are entitled to 26 days.

Probation Period: The maximum probationary period is three months. 

Notice Period: The length of the notice period depends on the type of employment contract. In the case of an employment contract for a probationary period, it may be 3 days, 1 week, or 2 weeks, depending on the length of service.

Termination: An employment contract may be terminated by mutual agreement of the parties, with notice,  with immediate effect (for cause or without any employee's fault) or at the end of the period it has been concluded for (Ie, fixed-term employment contracts and probationary period employment contracts). 

Severance PaySeverance pay is to be paid out for dismissed employees only for companies employing at least  20 employees.
